  • Jitter measurements - the FS5000 measures jitter in two categories:
  • PHY evaluation: Jitter and timing measurement of high-speed transmitters while they are transmitting real bus traffic
  • PHY evaluation: jitter insertion into high-speed receivers while they are receiving real bus traffic
  • Low data latency interposers allow measurement of jitter from the motherboard to the adapter card, or vice versa simultaneously with PCI Express or SRIO protocol measurements on a logic analyzer of the same traffic.
  • Monitors two directions of PCI Express or SRIO X1 or X4 links
  • PC-based Tool Manager software controls the FS5000 via a USB connection.
  • Incorporates embedded receiver and transmitter pairs.
  • DUT receives traffic through only one connector, exactly as in mission mode
  • Variety of interposers and cable adapters available
  • Buffered reference clock output
  • Reduce clock latency and jitter impact on DUT
  • Built-in analog probe monitors analog signal parameters without disturbing characteristic impedance of bus transmission lines
