Features
- FS4300 1 Gb/s FibreChannel Analysis Probe
Monitors up to two 1062.5 Mbaud Fibre Channel links.
Links may be interconnected such that receive data on one is transmitted
on the other, or the links may be operated independently with receive
data on each link being retransmitted on that link. Both links provide
for clock re-timing.
Provides flexible triggering on a range of events during a link
transaction.
Links may be connected using industry standard GBICs or via 50ohm
SMA connectors allowing the use of a pattern generator or other Fibre
Channel test equipment to drive or monitor a link. Traffic on a port
(e.g. Channel 1 GBIC) is available for monitoring on the related
port (e.g. Channel 1 SMA).
Activity LEDs provide a simple means to determine link status.
Several link errors can be detected, such as a failing link, an
8B/10B coding error or a framing error.
