FBD Parametric Tools From Agilent Technologies
Agilent offers a suite of parametric test tools that
provide full visibility into a Fully Buffered DIMM system. These test
fixtures are used to validate and characterize AMBs and FB-DIMMs.
N4234A 4x Resistor Pack Flying Lead Probe
The Agilent N4234A provides a convenient method to attach a 16900 Series logic
analysis system to standard fully buffered DIMM resistor packs.
- Provides an electrically and mechanically non-intrusive
connection between 16900 Series logic analysis system(s) and FB-DIMM
resistor packs
- Provides observation of address and command
traffic on industry-standard FB-DIMMs
N4235A AMB Parametric Test Fixture
The Agilent N4235A Advanced Memory Buffer (AMB) parametric test fixture provides
standard interfaces to Agilent logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network
analyzers (VNAs), bit error rate testers (BERTs) and pulse generators for
characterizing and troubleshooting AMBs.
- Allows a standard FB-DIMM AMB chip to be plugged
in for characterizing and troubleshooting
N4236A Parametric Test
Fixture
The Agilent N4236A parametric test fixture provides standard interfaces to
Agilent oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs), bit error rate testers
(BERTs) and pulse generators for characterizing and troubleshooting standalone
FB-DIMMs (fully buffered DIMMs).
- Allows a standard FB-DIMM to be plugged in
for characterizing and troubleshooting.
N4237A 4x/8x BGA DRAM Interposer Probe
The Agilent N4237A interposer probe enables viewing of data traffic on industry
standard fully buffered DIMMs with the 16900 Series logic analyzer.
- Provides an electrically and mechanically non-intrusive
connection between a 16900 Series logic analysis system and FB-DIMM
DDR2 DRAMs
- Provides observation of data traffic on industry-standard
FB-DIMMs
N4238A Slot Parametric
Probe
The Agilent N4238A slot parametric probe provides visibility into the analog
characteristics of the transmit and receive channels from the memory controller
to the Advanced Memory Buffer (AMB) using an Agilent oscilloscope. In addition
to compatible scope connection, the N4238A can also connect to an Agilent bit
error rate tester (BERT), vector network analyzer, or pulse generator, depending
on the type of measurement needed.
- Provides visibility into the analog characteristics
of the transmit and receive channels between the memory controller
and the AMB.
