For 32-bit protocol analysis, the FS2009 requires 4 logic analyzer
pods
For 64-bit protocol analysis, the FS2009 requires 6 logic analyzer
pods
For 16900 logic analyzer modules 16750-16752 and 16910-16911, you
will need one Agilent E5385A Termination Adapter for every two pods
to connect to the FS2009. (Click
here for termination adapter details.)
For 16900 logic analyzer modules 16753-754-755-756A and 16950, you
will need one Agilent E5378A Termination Adapter for every two pods
to connect to the FS2009. (Click
here for termination adapter details.)
A logic analyzer pod has 17 channels.
Pods operate as 32 channel pairs. For example, if 5 pods are actually
connected the 6th pod cannot be used for anything else.
In the 32 bit mode, if you want to probe the JTAG or IntA-D signals
you will need an additional pod with flying leads. In the 64-bit mode
you will need an additional logic analyzer module (3 total).
In the 32 bit or 64 bit modes, if you want to probe the JTAG or IntA-D
signals you will need an additional pod with flying leads.
