FS2009 System Requirements for Agilent 16700 Series

  1. For 32-bit protocol analysis, the FS2009 requires 4 logic analyzer pods
  2. For 64-bit protocol analysis, the FS2009 requires 6 logic analyzer pods
  3. For 16700 / 16702 logic analyzer modules 16717-719 and 16750-752, you will need one Agilent E5385A Termination Adapter for each two pods to connect to the FS2009. (Click here for termination adapter details.)
  4. For 16700 / 16702 logic analyzer modules 16753-754-755-756, you will need one Agilent E5378A Termination Adapter for each two pods to connect to the FS2009. (Click here for termination adapter details.)
  5. A logic analyzer pod has 17 channels.
  6. Pods operate as 32 channel pairs. For example, if 5 pods are actually connected the 6th pod cannot be used for anything else.
  7. In the 32 bit mode, if you want to probe the JTAG or IntA-D signals you will need an additional pod with flying leads. In the 64-bit mode you will need an additional logic analyzer module (3 total).
  8. In the 32 bit or 64 bit modes, if you want to probe the JTAG or IntA-D signals you will need an additional pod with flying leads.
  9. We recommend you use the latest Agilent operating software to insure you will get the best performance from FuturePlus products. To get the latest 1670/16700 logic analyzer software go to Agilent's web site.
