Frequently Asked Questions - FS2310 SIMM Analysis Probe Here are answers on some of the more common questions we receive regarding our SIMM Analysis probes. Q. Which SIMM's does your FS2310 Analysis Probe Support? A. The FS2310 supports 72 pin SIMM modules. Q. How does the Agilent logic analyzer connect to the FS2310 DIMM Analysis Probe? A. You can connect with "flying leads" or you can use the Agilent Low Density Termination Adapter. This adapter connects one of the Agilent 40-pin logic analyzer cables to a connector on the FS2310. You will need a total of four if you want to be able to look at all signals simultaneously. The Low Density Termination Adapter is available from Agilent as product number 01650-63203. Q. What software is included with the FS2310 SIMM Analysis Probe? A. Files are included that automatically set up your Agilent logic analyzer for timing analysis mode and label all the signal names. Q. Are you able to acquire the data on every rising edge? A. The FS2310 is a timing probe and is used primarily with the analyzer's timing mode. Q. How do I probe two SIMM's that are "back to back" in my system? A. You can order the FS2311; it probes from the back side. You cannot use the Low Density Termination Adapter with the FS2311 and must use "flying lead" probing, but it works great. Q.
