Protocol Compliance and Performance Analyzer

The DDR3 Detective Probe Manager: 

  • The DIMM and SO-DIMM versions test for over 50 violations on all banks and ranks for over 400 concurrent checks
  • The BGA version tests for 41 violations and completes 441 individual checks
  • Stored Log file lists violation, day and time of day when the violation occurred
  • Performance counters are real-time
  • Product is self tuning so no need for any auto deskew
  • Automatically calculates protocol parameters based on captured MRS information and loads into the protocol checking function.
  • Automatically calculates protocol parameters based on JEDEC spec. and loads into the protocol checking function.
  • Processes generated parameters calculated from JEDEC or MRS, or user specified.
  • Enforces allowed limits on user-specified parameters per JEDEC spec.
  • Allows user to override and enter new parameter values, separately enable each check.
  • Allows user to load parameters from or save parameters to a text file or xml file.
  • Monitors and displays running totals of the counters once per second.
